SOUTHERN EDGE WEATHER
POLICY
The safety of our players, coaches and spectators is of the utmost importance to Southern Edge Tournaments. We will make every attempt to play every minute of every game, but we will not jeopardize the safety of players to do so. We also need to play all the games possible in our allotted time period and cannot extend or reschedule the event to another day or weekend.
WEATHER POLICY
If we call the games due to lightning and thunder within a dangerous radius (we defer to our training staff and lightning detectors for that), last lightning strike. the fields must be cleared for 30 minutes after We will try to pick up games as scheduled but it will vary based on delay
Lightning/Thunder Procedure
SCHEDULE MODIFICATION DUE TO WEATHER
In the event of field closures an d/or unplayable field conditions; adverse or threatening weather conditions, tournament directors have the right to revise the schedule as necessary in their discretion. This includes modifying game times, canceling games, changing game length, modifying rules, etc.
In the event of adverse weather that causes complete or significant cancellation of the tournament, Southern Edge Tournaments will endeavor to offer either partial or full refunds to teams, depending on when the cancellation occurs. There shall be no refunds for individual games or playoff games lost due to weather delays.
REFUND POLICY
0 games played: 100% credit issued
1 game played: 75% credit issued
2 or more games played is considered an “official tournament” so no credit issued
Please NOTE: credit issued There will be no refunds issued due to weather cancellations will be issued a CREDIT towards another Southern Edge Tournament event. your team
